New listings jumped 17.4% in Houston during the week ended June 2, according to the Weekly Activity Snapshot from the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

Realtors added 4,119 properties to the MLS, up from 3,510 new listings during the same week in 2024.

Closings also increased annually, with 2,747 homes sold during the week — a 5.5% year-over-year bump.

Pending listings, however, decreased 2.3% year over year, with 2,276 homes going under contract.

Meanwhile, property showings increased 2.6% year over year, while open houses jumped 48% year over year.
