What was your first job in the realty industry? I was a MLS secretary that worked at Coldwell Banker United, Realtors in Deer Park, Texas.

What do you do to relax when you’re stressed? I like to relax in the hot tub while enjoying a glass of wine.

Where did you grow up? I grew up in Deer Park.

Growing up, what did you want to be? I wanted to be a business owner and run a real estate company.

If you could have lunch with a well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why? I would love to have lunch with Hugh Hefner, because he was a young man when he built his empire; he has had many set backs but also many opportunities that he turned down; and he is still successful to this day.

Where is your favorite place to hang out? My favorite place to hang out is in my pool. I love soaking up the sun and splashing around.

What do you love most about the industry? What I love most about the industry is meeting new people that have relocated to Houston and introducing them to the area. I don’t just show them homes, I give them a tour of Houston.

How do you distinguish yourself from the crowd of agents? I treat all my clients with honesty and southern hospitality. They are more than clients to me – they are family!

What is the most difficult aspect of your job? Trying to separate work life with personal life.

Where do you go to network and meet new clients? Every Monday I go to a new restaurant and sit at the bar to eat wearing a real estate t-shirt. I start conversations with everyone around me. I also do a lot of networking through Facebook, where my friends send me referrals.

What has been your greatest accomplishment? My greatest accomplishment was buying the truck of my dreams that I worked so hard for.

What was the last good movie you saw or book you read? American Sniper.

What is your favorite restaurant? Red Lobster.

Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston? My favorite building is the Astrodome, which is the eighth wonder of the world.

What kind of car do you drive? Ford F-150.

Smartphone or paper? Paper.

What is your favorite city after Houston? Las Vegas.
