New Fort Bend ISD elementary school coming to Harvest Green

by Emily Marek

Fort Bend Independent School District has acquired land for its 55th elementary school, located in the master-planned community of Harvest Green.

Located along Harlem Road south of Harvest Green Boulevard, the elementary school will be Fort Bend ISD’s fourth school within the Harvest Green community. The new school will join Neill Elementary, Bowie Middle School and Travis High School.

“Homes are selling fast in this new section of Harvest Green, so we’re excited that homeowners will have an elementary within walking and biking distance,” Harvest Green Vice President and General Manager David Hogue said. “Having kindergarten through 12th grade campuses in the community was certainly part of the appeal of Harvest Green from the start.”

Elementary No. 55 will take up approximately 16 acres in Harvest Green, accommodating roughly 1,000 students when it opens its doors in August 2026. The project is estimated to cost over $46 million.
