Caldwell Companies will develop a Cadence Creek active-adult rental community in Kingwood off Woodridge Drive, north of Northpark Drive. Construction is expected to begin in 2026.

The project will be the developer’s fourth in the active-adult space, following Cadence Creek locations in Cypress, Spring and College Station.

“Cadence Creek communities are designed to bring neighbors together in a vibrant setting that blends luxury, activity and meaningful connection,” Todd Johnson, president of Caldwell Residential Rental, said in a press release. “Kingwood is a natural next step for us — an established and scenic part of the Houston area that aligns perfectly with the engaging Lifestyle Cadence Creek residents value.”

Cadence Creek Kingwood’s 220 residences will be reserved for residents aged 55 or older, with one- or two-bedroom apartments and cottage homes available. Amenities will include a fitness center, movement studio, craft room, pool, community garden, dog park and coffee lounge, plus an on-site lifestyle director.

First move-ins are projected in 2027.
