Shea Homes’ active-adult brand, Trilogy, broke ground on the Converde community within Evergreen in Conroe.

Lots in the 740-acre gated section of the master-planned community are reserved for residents aged 55 and older. The builder will offer nine single-story floor plans ranging from 1,507 to 2,579 square feet, with pricing expected to start in the low $300,000s.

“Converde blends thoughtfully designed homes with modern conveniences and a dynamic, resort-style lifestyle created specifically for today’s 55-plus homebuyer,” Keith Luechtefeld, Houston division president for Shea Homes, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to welcome a vibrant new group of residents to Evergreen, where they’ll discover a neighborhood designed for connection, relaxation and growth.”

Converde will also feature a wellness and social club with a pool, pickleball and bocce courts and on-site lifestyle director. Residents will also have access to Evergreen amenities, which include a pool, recreation center and more pickleball courts.

The project is Trilogy’s first in Texas.
