What changes, if any, are ahead for Houston's real estate market in 2013?

We asked a few Houston agents this question and printed their answers:

“Everything I’m hearing and seeing leads me to believe it will be a good year, and a better year than 2012 on many different levels. Peoples’ attitudes are more positive, and numbers don’t lie – we’re looking at seeing a positive, steady growth. More and more, it seems to be a leaning into a sellers market, and for buyers, rates are super low. All and all, 2013 is looking very positive for real estate.” –Dianne Moore, United Real Estate

“My hope is that the Houston market will be strong in 2013. It has been slow because of the low inventory in the last few months. Last year we had many move up buyers and it will be a toss up if those people keep moving in 2013.  Houston was never really hurt as bad as other cities by the economic downturn so I dont believe that Houston has to recover from anything. I do hope 2013 will be stronger than last!” –Sandra Billings, The Billings Group
