Starwood Land and Land Tejas have begun development on Canterra Creek, a new master-planned community in Brazoria County.

Located west of Highway 288 along County Road 57, the 380-acre community will include approximately 850 homes with prices ranging from the upper $200,000s to the upper $400,000s. Builders slated for the first phase of construction include Tricoast Homes, Lennar and CastleRock Communities.

Canterra Creek is zoned to Alvin Independent School District. Other plans for the community include a resort-style pool, splash park, covered pavilion, playground and open green spaces. Residents will also have access to amenities at nearby Sierra Vista, a master-planned community in Rosharon.

Sales are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2024.
